He set up and operated a Repairs Garage that he built at the side of his mothers home in Roundwood. He offered an excellent and highly personal service for locals and indeed, many visitors to the county who found themselves with car trouble. His never left anyone stranded and always went “that extra mile” to ensure people were back on the road as soon as possible. Hence, when he began with a Jeep and a Tow Rope, recovery became a huge part of the business and it grew into a fleet capable of rescuing Motor Cycles, Cars and light Commercials. Although it brought 24 Hour unsociable hours, nights and weekends, Johnny won and worked numerous Towing, Breakdown and Accident Recovery Contracts - “Prices Recovery – never letting people down!” |
